LA SIESTA. Calahonda. Although a private Club, visiting golfers are always welcome at this 9 holenpar 3 cousrse. It is certainly a course to sharpen up your short game. The distances vary considerably- from as little as 51 meters off the men's tee at the second to 175 meters off the men's tee at the seventh.

CABOPINO. 5 minutes drive from Calahonda. Located above the Cabopino marina, it is set amongst umbrella pines. Although not unduly long at 5,417 meters, it nevertheless offers a stiff challenge for all golfers. The greens, however, offer generous targets and are usually in tiptop condition. The course has quickly become established as one of the most sought- after in the Marbella area.

MIRAFLORES. 10 minutes drive from Calahonda. Miraflores golf follows the gentle contours of the Sierra Mijas foothills and affords breathtaking views to the Mediterranean. Designed by Falco Nardi, the course has recently undergone considerable improvements. Each of the 18 holes offers a different challange. Members and visitors are always welcomed. This is a family orientated Club, where young and old, novices and advanced golfers can enjoy the game - from practicing at the Golf Academy and playing in well organised tournaments to socialising in the Club House.

LA CARLA. 10 minutes drive from Calhonda. This is the only resort on the Costa Del Sol with three 18 hole courses plus a six - hole par 3. La Carla North- on uneven terrain is considered a tough layout.

COAST?BEACHES-
Playa Calahonda has a fairytale, pictureesque postcard setting conveniently close to the town centre. Very popular with tourists. Explore the caves to the east on a well maintained but windy path.
Playa Cabapino is a popular venue where you can enjoy a good meal before taking a walk along its sandy beaches.
Many of the local beaches are only a short drive, you will be spoilt for choice.
